The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality responds to a letter from a resident, regarding a leaking water meter.

THE Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality responds to a recent letter from a resident, regarding a leaking water meter.

“The reported water leak was attended to on Friday, October 7, and it was discovered that the leak was not on the meter, but inside the yard,” said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.

”It was explained to the consumer that the team of technicians sent cannot attend to an internal leak. The customer is advised to contact a private plumber to attend to the leak.”
