One Brackenhurst CPF member has been shot by eight suspects in a taxi near Mimmos Corner Hennie Albert’s and Michelle Avenue Meyersdal.
According to medics on scene patroller was shot on his bullet proof vest. Five suspects have since been arrested. One of the suspects was arrested on the R59 near the Kimberly split.
The area is saturated by CPF and SAPS assets searching for further perpetrators. The circumstances of the shooting are unknown.
Legal authorities are still on scene.
