Wasting water – EMM is guilty as charged

EMM should up their game and fix leaks

It is with interest that I read on the RECORD’s website that EMM will impose fines on residents if they don’t save water.

Or let me rather say, it makes me boil with frustration, and I am sure I am not the only resident who feels this way.

Week after week we read one complaint after another from residents struggling to get EMM out to fix water leaks.

It is about time that EMM upped their game. A task team should be put together to tend to long-overdue unfixed leaks and fix it sooner rather than later.

We complain, we phone, we get reference numbers – just to follow the same procedure the next day and the day after.

Wake up, EMM – come to the party! We are all in this together and we should all do our bit to save water. EMM is, after all, the one billing us and should, therefore, see to it that there are no leaks anywhere which are left unattended.

Frustrated resident, Randhart

The RECORD is awaiting comment from EMM.
