THE driver and passenger of a Toyota Camry were arrested after trying to flee the scene of an accident.
On September 11 just after 22:00 Fox Security’s control centre received a call stating there was an accident on the corner of Andries and Letaba streets, Brackendowns.
Fox and National Paramedics were dispatched and on arrival it was found two cars were involved and that the people in a double cab bakkie were badly injured.
The driver and passenger of the second vehicle, a Toyota Camry, were arrested and found to be under the influence.
Brackendowns SAPS and EMPD were contacted and both suspects were taken to Brackendowns SAPS.
