Man injured after his bakkie rolled near Alberton

Paramedics took over the assessment and found that the man had fortunately escaped with only minor injuries to his leg.

A man was injured this afternoon after his bakkie rolled on a gravel road between the R61 near the railway in Alberton.

Upon arrival, paramedics found the man seated on the embankment being treated by a medic from the local authorities.

Paramedics took over the assessment and found that the man had fortunately escaped with only minor injuries to his leg.

The patient was treated for his injuries and thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

It is understood that the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle on the bumpy, gravel road, causing it to overturn.

Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
