Man stabbed and killed in residence

The details surrounding this incident are subject to the investigation of local authorities.

A man, believed to be in his late 30s, was killed yesterday after he was stabbed at his residence in Lenasia, South of Johannesburg.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found the patient lying outside a local “spaza” surrounded by numerous members of the local CPF.

On assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained a fatal stab wounds to his chest and showed no signs of life.

Unfortunately, the man had already succumbed to his injuries. Nothing more could be done for the patient and he was declared dead on scene.

It is believed that the man was stabbed in his residence by an unknown assailant. The man then proceeded to run out of his residence seeking help, finally collapsing in front of the shop.
