Spin for a purpose

Participants will be able to test their spinning skills and stand in line to win some exciting prizes.

A SPIN-A-THON in aid of Stepping Stone Hospice will be held on Saturday, October 29, from 07:00 to 11:00 at the Virgin Active New Market Park.

Participants will be able to test their spinning skills and stand in line to win some exciting prizes. A goodie bag filled with all sorts of surprises, a free massage and some Energade will be up for grabs.

Each participant can decide if they want to spin for an hour, two hours, three hours or all four hours. You can also select a time slot that suits you. An hour’s spinning will cost you R200, the second hour an added R150, the third hour an added R100 and a fourth hour an added R75. All participants completing the full four hours will be eligible to win a special prize.

Virgin Active New Market has also agreed to declare the day an “Open Day”. Non-members joining the Spin-A-Thon can enter the gym and make use of all the facilities for the day, provided non-members sign an indemnity form and produce an ID book or driver’s licence. Parents of children 18 years and younger will need to sign the indemnity form.
