Daylight robber still sought

The suspect grabbed the cellphone without a word and just ran away.

EDEN Park SAPS reported that a daylight robber is wanted for theft. The incident happened on Monday, August 22, at 10:45.

It is alleged that the suspect, who resides in Masarati Street, robbed two young boys of a white Blackberry Z10 cellphone, at the corner of Mazda and Opel Streets.

Police reported that the owner of the cellphone and his cousin were on their way to Corona Street, when they were approached by the suspect who is known to both of them.

The man grabbed the cellphone, valued at about R3 000, without a word and just ran away.
