Rock thrower injures toddler

The toddler’s father gave chase, caught the suspect and handed him over to Mondeor SAPS. A case was opened and the suspect will be appearing in court.

A TODDLER sustained injuries to his face and hand after a rock was smashed into the car’s side back window where he was sitting in his car seat.

The smash and grab took place on Saturday, August 13, at about 16:15 at the intersection of Kliprivier Drive and Columbine Avenue.

It’s believed the rock was thrown by the infamous rock thrower who operates at that particular intersection and surrounding areas.

The toddler’s father gave chase, caught the suspect and handed him over to the Mondeor SAPS. A case was opened and the suspect will be appearing in court.

The toddler is doing much better and is at home.
