Garage owner calls for calm

A Service Station owner is calling for calm after reports of an impending fuel strike.

A service station owner is calling for calm after reports of an impending fuel strike.

The RECORD spoke to the owner (who wishes to remain anonymous) of a well-known garage and he assured us that all the panic is for naught; according to him, not all of the companies will be affected.

“There are negotiations for wage increases, etc., but that is normal for this time of the year and not all fuel companies will be affected, as companies’ workers are not always with the same workers’ unions, which means that often strikes happen differently and sometimes at different times, so there is no need to panic,” says the business owner.

The RECORD will keep an eye on the situation and let our readers know of any developments in this matter.
