Are you registered to vote?

Remember, when going to vote, to take along your green bar-coded ID book, smart ID card or valid temporary ID certificate to the voting station.

The Independent Electoral Commission is ready to welcome voters to various poll stations across South Africa, for the 2016 Local Government Elections, that will be held on August 3.

To check if you are registered to vote, SMS your ID Number to 32810 to receive confirmation of your voter registration details, including the name of your voting station.

You can call the Electoral Commission Contact Centre on 0800 11 8000 FREE, between 7am and 9pm on weekdays.

*Use the voting station finder app on the IEC website at www.elections.org.za
