THE Alberton RECORD reported on a leaking water pipe in Ferrari Street in Eden Park three weeks ago.
The following comment was received from Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the EMM.
“Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) officials were threatened at various occasions on site not to repair the minor leak in Ferrari Street in Eden Park by neighbouring stand owner and closed the excavation.
“EMM officials will, after consultation with the community, attend to the leaking pipe.”
