Piece of hacksaw found in bread

The shop owner agreed to replace the bread.

A RESIDENT in Riemvasmaak, who wishes to remain anonymous, made a not so nice discovery when she was slicing bread to give to her children.

“I found a piece of a hacksaw blade in the bread. I took the remaining bread with the piece of blade back to the shop where I bought it from and the owner refused to replace the bread, stating it is not his problem.”

She then contacted the RECORD who in return approached the shop owner. After a lengthy debate about consumer rights, the shop owner agreed to replace the bread.
