Jessica follows her dream
Jessica Lovett showcased her skills at various competitions.
FOR most of her life Jessica Lovett has been following her dream of becoming one of the best female bodybuilders in the country.
She has started competing on a very high level and, despite the fact that a back injury kept her from training over the past few months, she has still raked in the best trophies on offer.
Her achievements over the past few years include a second place in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB), a first place in the International Bodybuilding Fitness Federation (IBFF), and a first place in the Beach Bikini and third place in the Fitness Bikini division at the Rossic Classic
The 23-year-old also travelled to Slovenia to compete in the IBFF World Championship, where she placed fifth.
At the IFBB she was placed second and received a personal invitation to the Arnold Classic. At the Arnold Classic, held in Johannesburg recently, Jessica competed in the Junior Bikini u.23 category and was placed sixth.
Competing in the Diva Bikini Tall at the World Beauty Fitness and Fashion 2016 competition, she took second place overall.
“This has always been my dream, to inspire others to live a healthier life and better their lifestyle from a fitness aspect,” said Jessica, who trains seven days a week to enhance her bodybuilding career.
”My whole life I have loved training and pushing myself to the limits. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life, coming from a family of athletes.
“My love for this sport started as a child, as I always knew that one day the stage would be mine.
”With the right backing I can continue to take this industry by storm; I am too hungry for success to fail.”
She will competing at the Miss South African Extreme competition, on Saturday, July 16, at the Heartfelt Arena, in Pretoria.
