BROKEN Wings, a non-profit organisation (NPO) from Alberton, helps out farmers, even if they are in financial trouble themselves.

The organisation has been working with civil rights organisation AfriForum to help the community, and one of these initiatives is to collect and house water for the farmers of Kroonstad, who are currently suffering from a massive water shortage.

Broken Wings cares for adolescents and adults with mental and physical challenges. They also cater for people from Tokoza, Eden Park, Palmridge, and greater Alberton areas, offering a day-care service and two meals a day, from Monday to Friday.
