FIVE suspects were arrested in Alberton SAPS’ policing area during normal crime prevention duties.
The arrests resulted from stop and search and tracing operations conducted by sector members, the flying squad, metro police and detectives on Thursday, June 9.
The suspects were arrested for the following alleged offences: one fraud, one possession of drugs, one possession of a stolen motor vehicle, one common assault and one intimidation.
All the suspects will appear at Palm Ridge and Germiston courts to answer to the alleged charges.
