LIGSTAD, a non-profit organisation, with a mandate to lend a helping hand to children and the elderly in need, is asking the public to sponsor an item(s) for their new classroom, or make a donation.

LIGSTAD, a non-profit organisation, with a mandate to lend a helping hand to children and the elderly in need, is asking the public to sponsor an item(s) for their new classroom, or make a donation.

The organisation needs the following for their classroom: four carpets, at R500 per carpet; four magnetic chalk boards, valued at R1 400 each; 42 mattresses at R290 each; four PC (computer) shelving units, at a cost of R780 each; four curtains at R1 000 per curtain; four Marval side chairs at R390 each; four mirrors at R200 each; four pin boards, costing R100 each.

Alternatively, donations would be greatly appreciated.

“Your name/firm/organisation will be linked to your contribution, and in this way, your legacy will live on with Ligstad,” says Alida Jooste, from Ligstad.
