AS part of the Mayoral Clean City Program, Ekurhuleni executive mayor Clr Mondli Gungubele officially launched the Night Shift CBD cleaning program, aimed at keeping the city’s streets spotless for 24 hours, on Monday, April 11.
The project has so far created new permanent job opportunities for 80 people.
The eight-hour night shift program is set to alleviate the scourge of dirt blanketing the city’s CBD and to improve its look and feel through intensive street cleaning and litter picking.
