Armed thugs hijack vehicle

I am thankful that they did not harm or assualt me when they took the car

WITH nobody on the streets on March 17 and a slight drizzle falling, Mrs M Pass pulled into her gate at her Eden Park home at about 11:00.

“When I drove into my property there was nobody outside or even inside my yard. But then, suddenly, when I got out of my vehicle, three young armed men were pointing firearms at me and demanded the car keys.

“I don’t know where they came from because I did not see them in my side mirrors when entering my gate. I can only assume they were hiding somewhere on the property. I gave them the keys and they drove off,” said a traumatised Pass.

She immediately called her nephew, who quickly contacted the tracker company. In a matter of one hour, the vehicle was discovered in Kholwane Street, Thokoza with the keys removed.

“I am happy that I got my bakkie back and I am thankful that they did not harm or assault me when they took the car,” she said.
