Red Friday stand against drugs

The disease is spreading at an alarming rate. Those of us who are not on the ground cannot fathom the intensity of substance abuse, which breaks families, cripples society and destroys individuals. Substance abuse is an evil.

We at Alcohol and Drug Concerns (ADC) are passionate about educating our teenagers and youth about the dangers of substance use and ultimately abuse. Our aim is to get to the individual before the substance does. Our ethos is prevention and we strive to instil in the minds of the community members that they are worth so much and their potential will be locked away forever within the cloud of substance addiction.

Substance abuse has exploded and, therefore, the fight must be intensified.

We call on every adult and child to take a moment and say a prayer on Friday, 18 March. Let us remember all of those infected and affected by drugs.
