Figures Alberton model goes global

Danielle van Randen has made her mark on the international modelling scene by winning the International Model of the Year competition in 2015.

DANIELLE van Randen (18) a Grade 12 student at Alberton High School started with modelling in 2014 to gain self-confidence.

The 1,8m tall brunette model entered and won the International Model of the Year 2015 competition and received an all-expenses paid trip to New York for the International Model and Talent Association Convention. Danielle was approached by various modelling agencies and was signed for a three-year contract with IMG Worldwide.

Danielle has appeared in two fashion shows with Pick n Pay clothing as well as in editorial work for Isuzu Trucks.

She will be meeting with Local IMG agent and talent scout David Grili on February 26 at the Michaelangelo hotel to plan for 2016. She intends to return to New York and several Asian countries this year to continue her contract with IMG.

Figures Models and Talent International holds the International Model of the Year annually in May/June. Figures will be giving one male and one female model the opportunity to win an all-expenses paid trip to the IMTA convention in New York 2016 for the first time.

Male and female models between the ages of 13 and 23 years that stay in and around Alberton will have the opportunity to enter the International Model of the Year 2016, to be held on May 14.
