Tips for a memorable Valentine’s Day

During the month of love, show your significant other how much you care about them.

During the month of love, perhaps we should all think a little bit about what Valentine’s Day means to us all.

There may be those sceptical cynics among us who consider the day a money-making farce, employed by greeting card companies and the like to get rich.

Then there are the hopeless romantics in our midst who enjoy nothing more than creating an unforgettable experience for their significant other, pulling out all the stops.

Perhaps the middle way is best, one does not have to spend much money (if at all) to show the person in your life how much you care. Here are some tips on how to make Valentine’s Day a memorable and romantic one:

*You should know what your loved one likes by now, so use that to you’re advantage by spoiling them with their favorite chocolate and champagne, a nice picnic (even in your backyard).

*Treat him/her with a nice scalp, neck and back massage (or even a foot massage), you don’t need to be a professional to give them this pleasurable experience. In fact, it may be even better receiving this from the one you love.

*Share a long, relaxing bubble bath together, with a drink, and discuss how you think you can make your relationship better, things that bother you, etc. Remember to maintain a loving, non-accusatory tone throughout.

*Tell your significant other you love him/her and how lucky you are to have them in your life, and that you can’t imagine your life without them. Everyone wants to hear how special they are from the person who is special to them.

*Surprise him or her with something fun, something that you may have enjoyed doing in the past, but haven’t done in a while, due to lack of time, stress, or simple complacency. The nostalgia you share is a wonderful way of bonding with one another.
