JOLENE van Vuuren is the new 2016 intern for Figures Alberton Modelling and Talent Academy. The dark-haired, vivacious 17-year-old is a Grade 12 student at Dinamika High School.
Jolene has competed in beauty pageants since she was five years old. She has won pageants like Little Miss Valentine, Little Mis Egoli and Miss General Alberts. Jolene joined Figures Alberton Modelling and Talent Academy in 2009 when she was 11 years old.
Jolene was also a finalist for the New York International Modeling and Talent Association Convention in the hip hop and modern categories. She has been the top scorer at the National Model of the Year Competitions and was once crowned the third place winner for girls aged 10 to 12 years.
Jolene is currently a modelling teacher at Figures Alberton. She stated that she sees each child as special and teaching them gives her great pleasure. Jolene says that she would love to empower young women and teach them coaching skills.
