JOHANNESBURG – Visiting Swamis from various Swami Sivananda Centres throughout the country will grace the 15th Anniversary of the Maha Samadhi of the founding President of the Sri Adi Shankara Ashrama, H.H. Sri Swami Shankaranandaji Maharaj.
The event will take place on November 29, in Winchester Hills, and will assume the form of a 12-hour Akhanda Bhajan Mela where various reputable Bhajan Mandals and Spiritual Institutions will participate.
Amongst the many highlights for the day will be the entertainment from the children of the Home of Hope Orphanage, the Sivananda School of Yoga based in Parktown, Sri Ramjee Bhajan Mandal of Lenasia and many others.
The community, especially the youth, are cordially invited to participate. Special prayers will be offered for peace, calm and quiet during the coming festive season as well as for the divine protection and well-being of all the citizens of our country against atrocious crime, violence and road accidents.
