ALBERTON — Gauteng is set to warm up this week.

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) warns that a heatwave will be felt across the province with temperatures expected to only drop by Friday, November 13.

Vanetia Phakula, a weather forecaster said there is, however, a slim chance of 30 per cent rain on Friday.

“This could be accompanied by thunderstorms, which, as always, pose the possibility for hail,” explained Phakula. She said there is a also a chance for rain on Saturday and Sunday.

Tuesday: minimum 16 degrees Celsius || maximum 34 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday: minimum 17 degrees Celsius || maximum 34 degrees Celsius.

Thursday: minimum 18 degrees Celsius || maximum 33 degrees Celsius.

Friday: minimum 18 degrees Celsius || maximum 32 degrees Celsius.

Saturday: minimum 17 degrees Celsius || maximum 30 degrees Celsius.

Sunday: minimum 16 degrees Celsius || maximum 30 degrees Celsius.
