ALBERTON – Three people lost their lives late on Saturday November 7 when two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash along the R 59.
Exact detail to the cause of the crash is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
According to Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha, “Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the crumpled remains of the vehicles and accident debris consistent with a high impact collision spread across the roadway.
“Tragically, they found that three people had died due to the extensive injuries that they sustained, one person was found to have serious injuries.”
Botha confirmed that two cars were involved in and that paramedics stabilised the injured patient at the scene and then transported him to a local hospital for further medical care.
