Announced by Executive Mayor Clr Mondli Gungubele during his 2015 State of the City Address, Mintirho Ya Vula Vula is aimed at maximizing local content and participation particularly by women, youth and people living with disabilities.

This is to be achieved through the creation of sustainable jobs, skills development and the promotion of industrialisation.

Organisations are therefore invited to submit proposals for financial support under the following high level priority areas:

Application forms are available at all Customer Care Centres, the municipality’s Head Office in Germiston and all ward committee offices. Alternatively contact Nthabiseng Lerata on 011 999 0810, Joseph Selolo on 011 999 0794 or Annah Moloi on 011 999 0806.

The closing date for submitting proposals is October 9, 2015.

Proposals must be submitted to the Grants-in-Aid support office foyer in the EMM head office building, on the corner of Cross and Roses Streets in Germiston. No late submissions will be considered. Proposals will be adjudicated and the approved Grants-in-Aid will be awarded early next year.
