VERWOERDPARK – The warning from the Community Policing Forum (CPF) comes after a house robbery took place this morning in Disa ave, Verwoerdpark.
According to a post on the Greater Alberton CPF’s Facebook page, “Three men in their middle 20’s on foot and they are armed, they also took the owners vehicle.”
The post stated that the men are scouting around. In the post, the CPF asked residents to please be aware and look around.
“Know your neighbour, know the people in your street, use different routes home don’t leave the same time every day.
“Make sure all your doors, gates and windows are locked before you go to bed, if you hear your electric fence going off press your panic button, make use of the radio network.
“If possible have a security gate installed in you passage so your bedrooms are separated from the rest of the house,” the CPF warned.
