Cell C gives back to NSPCA

Cell C has raised over R 21 000 for the National Council of SPCAs and handed over the cheque at NSPCA Alberton on Wednesday, July 29.

ALBERTON – The #CellCSaveTheDog project has raised over R21 000 with the launch of it’s advertising campaign in an effort to aid animal rights and welfare.

All the funds which have been raised have been donated to the NSPCA.

The fund-raising initiative, which follows Cell C’s Believe and Make It #Epic campaign, included a donation of dog food and staff assistance at various animal welfare shelters across the country.

Cell C encourages South Africans to donate funds, food and resources to the group to help keep animals safe. The NSPCA received the donation at a handover ceremony held on July 29 at the NSPCA in Alberton.

“This fundraising initiative shows Cell C’s proud commitment to the protection and well-being of animals. We are proud to be a part of ensuring that all animals have comfortable and happy lives,” says Doug Mattheus, Cell C’s executive head of marketing.
