Thief uses stolen gun to rob and hijack

The Willeman family of Eden Park had a firearm reportedly stolen from their safe by a person known to the family.

EDEN PARK – According to Jacky Willeman, it is known to the family that the addict has stolen from many residents, including family members.

The man allegedly used the stolen firearm to rob a local tuck-shop and to hijack another family member. The man then forced the family member to drive him around as he searched for his girlfriend.

While in the vehicle, the man reportedly fired several shots at random, fortunately not injuring anyone.

The next day, sector manager Constable Maho Morobi, arrested the man near Geniva’s Tavern in Eden Park.

The stolen firearm was still in his possession.
