Let’s help this young man reach his rugby dream

Tristan Delport was selected out of a group of 400 young South African rugby players to tour Ireland as part of the Arthur Johnson rugby invitational and he needs the help of the community to reach this dream.

ALBERTON- Tristan Delport was selected from a group of 400 young South African rugby players, to tour Ireland as part of the Arthur Johnson rugby invitational team.

While playing on tour in front of a panel of 10 selectors, in Mossel Bay, this year, Tristan was spotted and chosen to be part of a 22-man squad to play rugby in all three the provinces of Ireland, against other u.19 teams.

Tristan, who is also headboy at Alberton High, has some ideas on which he is working to raise money, but he needs R40 000 for flights, accommodation and food.

If you would like to sponsor or help this humble young man to get to Ireland, please phone his mom, Jeanine Whateley, on 084 554 1011.
