New generator installed at Stepping Stone
ALBERTON – Load shedding causes havoc in normal households at Stepping Stone Hospice and Care Services, in New Market Park, load shedding causes stress and distress on levels almost unimaginable.
An anonymous Alberton sponsor, heard of their plight and had a brand-new 18KVA Auto Switchover Generator installed at the Hospice facility. The generator is fully contained, super silent and of no disturbance to patients in the In-Patient Unit.
Eddie Bezuidenhout from EFJ Power Solutions oversaw the installation process with Tersia Burger, CEO at Stepping Stone Hospice.
“Words cannot describe how grateful we are for this wonderful gift. We can now stay 100 per cent operational throughout the load shedding phases, and that is just the greatest news for our patients and their families,” she said.
