Brackendowns SAPS made a number of arrests over the Freedom Day long weekend. From Friday, April 24 to Tuesday April 28 the police have made 13 arrests. Suspects have been detained on a variety of charges.
Four suspects have been apprehended for armed robbery. Four arrests were made with charges of malicious damage to property and housebreaking. One suspect was arrested on charges of fraud. One arrest was made for malicious damage to property. One suspect was arrested on charges of assault and two suspected shoplifters were detained over the weekend.
All the cases have been sent to Palmridge Magistrate’s court and appeared on Tuesday, April 28.
