Honouring Art Farm writers
The Art Farm hosted a writing competition for all residents of the South and held a prize-giving ceremony to honour the winners from three categories.
ALBERTON- The Art Farm hosted a writing competition for all residents of the South, and the prize-giving was held on March 21. A total of R21 750 was distributed among the winners who read their work to the audience.
The judges included Eugene Becker, Susan Pienaar, Anton Pienaar and Christo de Klerk.
The winners of the various categories were as follows:
Primary School age 9-12: First prize: Lethabo Molefe, second prize: Lungile Nyathi, third prize: Willem Viljoen.
High School: First prize: Lungile Manyathi, second prize: Sonali Harduth, third prizes: Megan Mc Ewan and Natasha Kuhn
Adults: First prizes: Stemela Sphamandla, Sharon Allen, and Shandre Janis Dalais. second prize winners in the adult section: Arno le Roux, Meghan Botts and Rebecca Gage, third prizes: Tiffany Douglas, Moira McKie and Donna-Marie De Sousa
