Fun for all at Easter egg hunt
Cause 4 Paws held their first fundraiser on March 29 at Dukes Academy for Dogs at Rietvlei Zoo Farm.
The Easter Egg Hunt for adults and children was loads of fun. Prizes, raffles and food were sponsored by private individuals such as Brackendowns Spar, Lincoln Bros, Dukes Academy for Dogs and Smallville Comics.
Various dog-friendly events were held, a fun obstacle course, prettiest dog, dog most like its owner and best trick. Boerewors rolls, cold drinks and Cause 4 Paws’ very own branded water was on sale.
Many supporters attended on the day with their fur-kids in tow. Cause 4 Paws would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported them, volunteered and contributed to the overwhelming success. They raised a whopping R 15 005.90.
Cause 4 Paws’ main focus is sterilising domestic animals in need, and all money raised will go towards sterilising domestic animals in need. Cause 4 Paws does not employ staff or run a shelter, so all money raised goes directly to the animals. Any donations of dog, puppy, cat or kitten food, collars, leashes, bowls, kennels, blankets, tick and flea powder, de-wormers and/or money are always welcome.
