A call on residents to help fight crime

ALBERTON – Sgt Mgedezi is looking for any residents to join existing crime fighting structures or to come with new ideas in ways to unite against crime.

“It does not matter how old you are, if you are working or not,” the SAPS spokesperson said.

One of the ways that Alberton SAPS is reaching out to the community is through sport. Members of the community come together to play sport and use this environment to discuss pressing issues like domestic problems and women and child abuse.
