Tieghan qualifies for the IMTA Convention in New York

Tieghan Griffin-Coetzer, the Figures Alberton Intern for 2014, an aspiring model and now an aspiring actress, has qualified once again to attend the IMTA Convention to be held in New York in July this year.

ALBERTON – “Tieghan Griffin-Coetzer attended the IMTA Convention last year as a model and has grown in leaps and bounds in the modelling industry. She gained International experience and exposure and learnt many new things to do with the talent industry; she even got a call-back from a Tokyo-based agency called Visage. The experience was phenomenal – one we will treasure forever,” Tieghan’s mother, Emma said.

The IMTA Convention gives aspiring models, actresses, song writers, singers and dancers the opportunity to be seen by casting agents and to be scouted. The convention runs for one week and those invited compete on runways, stages and in front of cameras, both in live and recorded competitions.

They also have the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars offered by industry experts.

“Figures Alberton believe Tieghan has what it takes and have once again extended an invite for her to attend the IMTA Convention. Tieghan needs to raise funds or find sponsors in order to realise her dream. She is my creative, outgoing child and I truly believe that she has the potential to go all the way,” Emma added.

Emma askes for the support of Alberton, for Tieghan to realise her dream: “Anyone willing to help my daughter realise her dream with either sponsors or assisting with any fundraisers, please contact me on 0845881080 or email emmag@infodoor.co.za and any assistance will be greatly appreciated.”
