Programmes will be recorded and placed on DVD, which will include a news broadcast with exciting newsworthy events that unfolded at the school, music shows, school talent displays with their very own Eden Park Got Talent Show. Also on the DVD will be comedy shows, educational material, academic competitions like Spelling Bee challenges and maths challenges.
Learners will be the producers of their own shows, where they will do research and compile their own programmes.
The project will enable learners to develop holistically and to develop their talents at a very young age. This is also an opportunity for local businesses to advertise their products and services to the school community.
The project is directed by G Plaatjies, a former educator at the school, who is also involved in other educational projects.
