Sidney will be missed
Long-time Alberton resident and member of the senior golfers at Reading Country Club, Sidney Lawrence Lottering (82), passed away on Wednesday 29 October after suffering a massive heart attack.
ALBERTON – Sidney was born in East London on June 4, 1932. In 1979 he moved to Alberton, where he settled with his wife, Magda. They stayed in Raceview for the past 20 years. Sidney’s family and friends wish to thank the Netcare 911 ambulance services, the Union Hospital and specifically sister Cindy, AVBOB Alberton’s Lize and Dr Vernon van Wyk and Simone from the Alberton Methodist Church for their unconditional love and support. The family also wishes to express their gratitude to the couple’s neighbours, Pierre and Tersia and Heidie and Schalk for assisting Mrs Lottering in contacting the ambulance and their children.
Sidney will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
