Ligstad turns two

On September 3 Ligstad quietly turned two. The celebration took place at the aftercare centre on Friday, September 5.

ALBERTON – The children were treated to two jumping castles, popcorn, ice cream and best of all, a lunch partially sponsored by Romans Pizza of Redruth Centre in New Redruth. Ligstad would like to thank them for their huge discount on the children’s meal, enabling them to feast on a luxury meal for most of them.

Alida Jooste, social worker and project manager of Ligstad, would like to thank every community member who has contributed in whichever way during these two years. Thanks to each and every one of these contributions. Ligstad is able to, pro-actively, make a difference to many families. Thank you to the community of Alberton North.

Alida Jooste also states that none of this would have been possible without the providence of our Heavenly Father, who richly blesses Ligstad on so many levels and thus honouring our Saviour and Heavenly Provider for His love and favour.

Ligstad is looking forward to serving the community of Alberton in the years to come.
