IN the 2013/14 cricket season, Hoërskool President High School’s cricketers played very well and a lot of individual achievements are being reached in the 2014/15 season as well.
Earlier in the year, the 2013/14 summer, Donovan Hall got a hat-trick, Kenny Weimers and Edwin du Plooy reached 64 runs and 76 runs respectively to be the first to batsmen to reach fifties this year. Christopher Harris got his five wicket haul in a match as well.
President’s first team also went on tour in the off-season to prepare for this coming season, and it seems that it bears fruit as President’s cricketing brilliance did not stop there. In the early part of the 2014/15 summer, President added to the previous summer’s tally with three splendid fifties and a century.
Pravesh Sigamoney – centurion (101 runs), Edwin du Plooy got his second fifty for the year, while Yasteel Dhanraj got two consecutive fifties behind his name.
But the man of the hour for President is Pravesh Sigamoney, who became a centurion for President against Fochville with 101 runs.
