Building Collapse: Fund available for Eco Estate victims
The community of the Meyersdal Eco Estate along with Jurgens Bekker Attorneys has set up a trust for the families of the deceased.
MEYERSDAL – This follows the tragedy where seven people lost their lives when a structure at a house in the Estate collapsed.
Donations will be accepted from the public and funds will be raised funds for several weeks. Funds will then be distributed among the families of the deceased.
Anyone who wishes to make donations towards the families of those who tragically lost their lives, can make payments into the following account: Stand 169 Trusts, Absa Bank Limited, branch code 632005, account number 929 846 2300. Please use your name and phone number as reference.
All donations will be accepted for two months and thereafter the funds will distributed equally among the families.
The Estate said in a release on behalf of the Meyersdal Eco Estate that their prayers are with those affected and their families.
“We continue to give our full cooperation to the various emergency services involved in the rescue operation. We are thankful to the brave men and women involved in the rescue operation.”
