A MAN was stabbed in an attempted armed robbery just before 07:00 on July 30 on the corner of Second Avenue and Steenbok Road, Verwoerdpark.
CPS Security’s team in the nearby area was approached by a concerned man who told them about the incident. He told them that a man has been stabbed, and that someone tried to steal the injured man’s belongings while he was on his way to work.
The team dispatched two reaction vehicles to the scene, where they discovered that the man had been stabbed three times. They immediately requested an ambulance and shortly after, ER24 arrived on the scene.
The man was treated and taken to hospital.
