Alberview Primary sport activities

Science learners:

Francois Theron, Cameron Uys, Ntanga Neluembeni and Ashton Waite took part in Round 1 of the SAASTA Science Quiz on Friday May 23. They came second by scoring only two marks lower than the winning school. They have qualified for the second round that takes place at the beginning of August.

Netball:

Under 13 netball team – Ntokozo Ndlela, Jaimee Prins, Amile Buthelezi, Tholoana Mabote, Ntanga Neluembeni, Ayanda Mabuza, Bontle Mokoena and Jasmin Aube. These girls represented the u.13 netball and are the League winners for both 2013 and 2014.

Under 12 Soccer Team –

The u.12 soccer boys have been unbeaten in all the soccer tournaments for the past fouryears, and they have also won the league every year since 2011.

Junior Sports Day –

On June 7, Aberview Primary School hosted their annual Junior Sports Day. Alberview teachers and parents worked from early in the morning getting everything ready for the players and their parents. Alberview welcomed soccer, netball, tennis and chess players from Alberton, Bedfordview, Brackenhurst, Colin Mann and Dinwiddie.

Glenview and Kenton Primary Schools as well as Covenant College and Waterstone College.

Alberview Primary School Staff would like to thank all the participating schools, their coaches, parents and Fox Alarms & Security for supporting them and making the morning so successful.
