Team Shugasmakx represents Gauteng at Clash of the Choirs
Team Shugasmakx is representing Gauteng in Clash of the Choirs SA.
ALBERTON – This team is led by Lebogang ‘Shugasmakx’ Mothibe, a member of the rap group Skwatta Kamp. They are representing Gauteng in this year’s competition.
The show is a co-production of Mzansi Magic and M-Net. The show is presented by Bonang Matheba and sponsored by Metropolitan.
Clash of the Choirs SA brings musically inspired individuals together to form an amateur choir. A musical celebrity who plays the role of a choir master for the duration of the competition goes to a province and selects individuals to represent their province.
There are a total of seven choirs taking part, and they compete against each other every Sunday evening. The first prize, for the winning choir, is R750 000. R250 000 of the prize money will go to a charity chosen by the choir.
