Stolen Flag at Sundowners this weekend
An Alberton-based band, Stolen Flag, will be performing at Sundowners on June 28. They will be on stage at 23:00.
ALBERTON – The band consists of Anton Lombard on bass guitar, Craig Butterworth on guitar and backing vocals, Michael Rehbock on drums, Matt Haddon on vocals and PJ van den Berg on guitar.
The band is excited to perform new songs, sets and structures that they have been working on. This will also be Matt Haddon’s first gig as their new vocalist.
PJ, one of the band members, describes their sound as loud and fast. They draw influences from bands like A Day to Remember, Rise Against and Story of the Year.
To them it is all about the message. They want to send a positive message to their fans. “It’s about being the best version of yourself,” Matt explains when he spoke of one of the new songs in their line-up.
Other bands playing on the day are: State Dependency, Inceria, The Anti Retro Vinyls and Hokum.
