Drug awareness campaign in Alberton

SAPS Alberton together with the Department of Community Safety recently embarked on a drug awareness campaign.

ALBERTON – Sessions were attended by teachers and learners. The sessions were informative, and some of those who attended asked that the session be repeated at their churches.

SAPS Alberton expressed that “Fighting drug-dealing and the use of drugs is everybody’s responsibility, and together we can win this fight. Let us stay free of drugs”.

If any group or organisation or school is interested in the presentation, they can contact Sgt Mgedezi (crime prevention officer) on 011 861 6850 or 011 861 6844.

Presentations are free and presented by Sgt Mgedezi from the SAPS Alberton and Thomas Shoko from the Department of Community Safety.

They are still busy visiting schools in the area.
