CHOC to benefit from the pageants
Every finalist in the country has a different task, and one of these is to raise funds, of which a certain percentage will go to CHOC.
JOHANNESBURG -Madeleine van Niekerk, a finalist in Out of Africa Winter Queen 2014, is determined to fundraise for Childhood Cancer Awareness Program (CHOC) in her quest to help them.
Every finalist in the country has a different task, and one of these is to raise funds, of which a certain percentage will go to CHOC. She is doing a ‘Win a photoshoot’ competition.
Participants need to follow three steps to enter:
Step 1 – Entry fee R100, bank details (Absa Savings Account; 0338170742).
Step 2 – Email your photo and proof of payment to facebookphotocompetition@gmail.com.
Step 3 – ‘Like’ the Out of Africa Winter Queen Finalist 2014 – Madeleine van Niekerk page.
Then your photo will be uploaded to the Facebook page and the photo with the most ‘likes’ will win the prize.
The proceedings of this competition will go to CHOC.
Entries close midnight on Monday June 30, terms and conditions apply.
All this will culminate in a gala evening on August 30. Companies and individuals who are interested to get involved or would like to donate will get exposure on the evening.
