A QUADRAPLEGIC resident of Brackenhurst complained about the account enquiry department of EMM and tried calling on numerous occasions before and on May 14.
The quadriplegic male hadn’t received municipal accounts for months and it used to be posted to his physical address all the time.
He tried to get hold of the EMM, but could never get through to the Service Centre number 011 999 2100.
The resident told the RECORD about this and when the matter was addressed by the newspaper to the necessary representatives of EMM, the matter was dealt with accordingly and the documents delivered to his house by a member of EMM.
“A thank you to Johann Ackerman for his outstanding service,” said the resident.
A number was provided as an alternative contact, which is 011 999 0010. This is the number to dial in future for all account enquiries.
