VIDEO: Man wounded during hijacking in South Crest

Four men hijacked a white Polo in South Crest, Alberton - Driver shot four times.

ALBERTON – A hijacking took place in South Crest, Alberton on May 13 and a man was seriously wounded.

Four assailants hijacked a white Polo on Tuesday evening. A black car blocked the residents in their driveway.

It happened so quickly that Willem Bester could not get his firearm out to take a shot. Two men pulled Willem out of his car hit and kicked him. He was shot four times. The hijackers also took his watch and his firearm.

His car was found in Kathlehong, by members of the Special Operations Group and Tracker. The car was ripped inside, because they were searching for the Tracker device.

According to Du Toit Lambrechts from SOG, Willem is in ICU in the Union-hospital.

  1. If you think you are going to be hijacked shoot the black dead . Better to go to court and tried by 12 people than buried by 6. Even if the black wasn’t going to hijack your car he must have done or was going to do other crimes
